The Brief

Revive CBD was looking to design and develop its website and online sales funnels in order to process the demand and better reflect the clean branding of its products. The new sales funnel design and eCommerce website needed to raise the standard of user experience (UX) across the whole site. Revive CBD’s aesthetic is simple and bold, and the customer user journey needed to reflect this on the site. Conversions and Educating the customers about Hemp CBD were also a priority to Revive. And this was the natural result fo the detailed UX improvements on the site. Ultimately, the site simple and user-friend, creating the perfect user experience focused on educating the customers and increasing the chance of happy customers converting.

Our Approach

For Revive’s requirements, Shopify was an obvious solution. 99.99% uptime was important for the brand that had a growing customer base and infinite scalability was necessary of Growth. Shopify’s vast integrations with partners like Zipify Pages, Klaviyo, and a wide array of payment providers made it possible for the company to sell hemp products online. The site and sales funnel was designed to reflect Revive minimal aesthetic, branding, and ethos.

It was important for Revive to have a full range of CBD products displayed across the site, and that the customer journey was as seamless as possible.

Educational Content was at the heart of this project. So, we also helped come up with a Blog Content strategy that meshed well with the customers along their customer journey into taking Hemp CBD for the first time.

Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)

The increased conversion rate was a core requirement for the new Revive CBD site, and this went hand-in-hand with the product mini-site experience. Coined by Ezra Firestone of Zipify pages, product mini-sites are excellent for introducing customers who are first becoming aware of the brand. There is a different conversion for different times throughout the customer journey, so the site is built so that purchasing CBD is a simple decision. learning about the benefits of CBD on product pages, with additional blog posts. And several additional lifestyle photographies showing the product in use, along with clear and detailed information on ingredients and application.

Revive CBD is all about transparency from their growing, to production, so its was essentia lthat the website and sales funnel provided a clear and natural experience. Stripping back the websites mini-site on the about us section was important for easy onboarding and educating customers on the basics of CBD. Making this experience for customer increased chance of data capture and cleaned up the homepage. the navigation was also simplified to allow customers to browse the site intuitively.

Long form product landing pages also developed into the navigation so that customers are able to learn more about how CBD can help them achieve better health naturally. Finding the exact product you are looking for onsite takes no more a two clicks. Reducing the number of steps a visitors needs to take to get to the sohpping cart streamlines the process and reinforces the great customer service.

The site also places an emphasis on transparency. It was important, because of the nature of this new industry, to provide lab testing results. In addition, the FAQ pages, and product descriptions to further educate customers about CBD. This reduces a customers chance of bouncing off the site whilst continually showing related products and additional helpful content.
